Dominos: DXP

DXP was uniquely fun because we got to pitch all sorts of easter-eggs and a lot of them made it into the final piece. At one point I wanted Smooth McGroove to create the score and the idea surprisingly wasn’t met with a hard no…more of a soft no I suppose. Some of the things that did make it in were Red October, Leonardo, Little Mac, Willy’s Pirate Ship, and even an appearance of ‘The Noid’ which was a little ahead of it’s time. The devs some how came up with a way to animate reflections on the DXP without killing the filesize. In the end we created a beautiful, entertaining journey showcasing the features of Domino’s new dedicated pizza delivery vehicle—which ran smoothly on desktop and mobile devices.

I did some Creative/Art Direction, Design, 3D, and Motion @ Tool.
