Fox: The War of 1996

I always loved the first ID4 movie and have fond memories of seeing it on July 4th on a family vacation. It was so popular it was playing every half hour and still selling out. When I found out that in the span of three weeks, three of us had to design and build an experience that bridged this movie with its upcoming sequel and the events that occurred in the 20 years between them—I reached into my bucket list of project ideas and proposed we do something like ‘Clouds’ but with a timeline controlling a WebGL globe rather than a video. The guys at Nakatomi approved, and off to the races we went.

I did some Creative/Art Direction, Design, and Motion @ Tool.
